Enter your cash position and monthly numbers to see your net burn and how many months of runway remain.
Runway is a simple ratio, but the numbers behind it move constantly. Reading it well means knowing which burn you are looking at and how fresh the inputs are.
Gross burn is everything you spend in a month. Net burn subtracts the revenue you bring in, so it reflects the cash you actually consume. This tool uses net burn.
Divide your cash balance by monthly net burn and you get the months of runway left. If you are cash-flow positive there is no burn to divide, so runway does not apply.
A single month is a snapshot. Burn shifts with hiring, collections, and one-off spend, so the figure is only useful when it tracks your real numbers as they close.
Illustrative estimate only. Runway assumes a constant monthly net burn with no change in revenue, expenses, or financing. Actual runway depends on seasonality, collections, and future spend.
Rivane keeps cash, burn, and runway live off your actuals. Book a demo to see it.
